For SEO, web and local marketing agencies

Your clients want Google Ads. We only do Google Ads.

If your agency builds websites or does local SEO for home-service businesses, some of your clients will ask for Google Ads. Legacy Point can run those accounts for you, led by a six-year Google veteran. We offer nothing else, so we never compete with you for the client.

Can an SEO or web design agency outsource Google Ads management?

Yes, and many do. Paid search is its own discipline. An agency that is excellent at websites and local SEO usually has no one on staff who lives in Google Ads accounts every day. Agencies in that position either refer ads clients to a specialist, bring in a specialist to run accounts under their own brand, or take the work on themselves and hope it goes well.

The first two protect the client relationship. The third is where it tends to get damaged, because a poorly run ads account is the fastest way for a happy SEO client to start doubting the whole agency.

02

How does a partnership with Legacy Point work?

There are three ways to set it up, and the agency chooses:

  • Named specialist. You introduce Legacy Point as your Google Ads lead. The client knows who runs the account, you stay the main relationship, and "our paid search is run by an ex-Google specialist" becomes part of your pitch.
  • White-label. We run the account behind your brand. You handle all client communication, and we supply the work and the reporting.
  • Referral. You hand the client over for Google Ads, and we send website and SEO needs back to you.

In every case the client owns their Google Ads account, and we work through delegated access.

03

Will Legacy Point try to take our clients?

No, and the business is built so that it can't. Legacy Point does not offer websites, SEO, Google Business Profile management, reputation management or social media. There is nothing to cross-sell. When a client we work with needs any of those, the referral goes to the partner agency.

04

What does it cost?

A flat monthly fee per account, agreed up front, with no percentage of ad spend. You set your own price to the client. There is no minimum number of accounts, and everything is month to month.

05

Which client accounts are a good fit?

Home-service businesses: HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, dumpster rental and similar local trades, anywhere in the United States.

The one thing we are strict about is budget. In most metro markets an account spending under about $1,000 a month on ads buys too few clicks to be improved, and the client ends up disappointed in both of us. We would rather tell you an account isn't ready than take it and watch it fail. For very small budgets, Local Services Ads alone are often the better first step.

06

Can Legacy Point help us sell Google Ads to our clients?

Yes. If a client or prospect already has a Google Ads account, we will audit it and write up the findings in plain English for you to present: where the money is going, what is being wasted and what a realistic target looks like. If they have no account yet, we will estimate click costs and a sensible starting budget for their market. We can join the sales call when it helps.

There is no charge for this. It is how we would want to start the relationship anyway.

07

Who does the work?

Simon Perilla, Legacy Point's founder, who spent six years inside Google's advertising organization and trained Google's own account representatives. He works in the accounts himself. There are no junior analysts and nothing is sent offshore. More about Legacy Point.

How do we get started?

Email simon@legacypointads.com with a line about your agency and the kind of clients you serve. The usual first step is a short call, followed by a pilot on a single client account so both sides can see how it works before committing to more.
